Job Summary

You will be responsible for safeguarding digital systems, networks, and data from unauthorized access, theft, or damage. This role involves designing defences, conducting security tests, responding to incidents, and ensuring overall compliance with global security standards.

Key Responsibilities

Defense & Maintenance: Install and manage firewalls, antivirus, encryption, and access controls. Implement security policies and procedures.
Threat Monitoring: Keep track of emerging cyber threats and security trends to stay ahead of potential breaches.
Incident Response: Investigate security incidents, report findings, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
Testing: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and fix system weaknesses.
Compliance & Education: Support industry security standards and train IT personnel and general staff on security protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of networks, operating systems, and common cyber threats.
Tools: Familiarity with firewalls, antivirus tools, and security monitoring systems.
Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
Certifications: Professional certifications like CompTIA Security+ or CEH are a significant advantage.
