Remote Volunteer Opportunity: Digital Communications at Inspire Her Afrika

Inspire Her Afrika, a dynamic women’s mentorship program dedicated to empowering young African women, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Communications Volunteer to join their communications team.

This is a remote role open to applicants in Nigeria.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for helping to design, curate, and distribute engaging monthly newsletters to inspire and inform the community, including mentees, alumni, and partners. If you are passionate about digital storytelling and women’s empowerment, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and send monthly newsletters to IHA’s mailing lists (general, partners, and alumni).
• Use platforms such as Zoho Campaigns and Substack to design and distribute the newsletters.
• Collaborate with the IHA team to develop creative content ideas (community highlights, inspiring stories, and resources).
• Write, edit, and proofread content to ensure clarity and brand consistency.
• Track and report key engagement metrics (opens, clicks, subscriptions) and suggest ways to boost subscriber growth.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience creating newsletters or writing digital content (preferably on Zoho, Substack, or similar platforms).
• Strong writing and storytelling skills with a knack for making content informative and fun.
• Creative thinker with an eye for visuals, layout, and audience engagement.
• Self-driven, organized, with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Passionate about women’s empowerment, leadership, and personal development.
