 Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Control Officer to strengthen internal audit processes, ensure compliance, and support risk mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and enforcing internal controls in line with regulatory standards and business objectives.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Review general ledger entries daily

• Monitor expenses to ensure compliance with internal policies

• Review and maintain vendor SLAs

• Perform fixed asset reconciliations

• Prepare exception reports and management dashboards

• Collaborate on developing and updating internal policies

• Investigate non-compliance issues and propose corrective actions

• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry standards

• Train staff on internal control procedures

• Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation measures

 Requirements:

• HND/B.Sc. in any discipline (Master’s is an added advantage)

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in internal control, risk, or audit roles

• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or ACA) is required

• Strong understanding of control processes and regulatory compliance

• Prior industry knowledge is a plus
