Position Overview
MSF is seeking a Driver to provide safe, reliable, and efficient transport of people and goods while adhering to organizational protocols and local traffic laws. The ideal candidate will be experienced, responsible, and familiar with routes in Borno State.

Key Responsibilities

Drive MSF staff and goods safely, following local and organizational rules

Conduct daily and weekly vehicle checks and ensure cleanliness

Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks and documentation

Ensure proper loading/unloading of goods with delivery documentation

Follow communication and security protocols during field movements

Report any vehicle issues to the mechanic or line manager

Attend pre- and post-trip briefings and comply with the project’s security plan

Requirements

Education: Secondary education & valid driving license
-
Experience: At least 2 years of driving experience (NGO and 4×4 vehicle experience is an advantage)

Language: Fluent in English and Hausa (spoken & written)

Other Skills: Good knowledge of local roads, responsible attitude, strong communication

Remuneration
Salary is based on MSF’s national staff salary scale.
