Overview:

UNICEF Innocenti is currently seeking a Youth Engagement and Strategy Communications Consultant to join their global team. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled and passionate communicator to support impactful storytelling, amplify youth voices, and strengthen the visibility of UNICEF’s youth-focused strategies across international platforms.

The selected consultant will work remotely and collaborate closely with the Youth Engagement and Strategy team, as well as with young changemakers, to create content that drives attention to youth-centered research and advocacy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Amplify youth-led and youth-cantered research, foresight, and policy impact through global communications efforts.
Collaborate on compelling stories, campaigns, and communications products alongside youth leaders and internal teams.
Support communication strategies around major reports, initiatives, and global advocacy events.
Ensure youth engagement work is visible, relatable, and understood by diverse audiences across the globe.

Requirements:

Proven experience in communications, youth engagement, international development, or related fields.
Strong storytelling and digital communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including youth.
Strategic mindset and creativity in amplifying global initiatives.
Fluency in English (additional languages are an asset).
