Established in 2018, WRCI works to provide succor to people affected by conflict and violence, particularly focusing on the challenges posed by armed groups in Northwest Nigeria. These roles are part of a crucial project aimed at “Strengthening Community Resilience against Extremism and Violent Extremism through Rehabilitation and Reintegration of Women and Youth Associated with Violent Extremism” in Bakori Local Government Area.

Featured Role: Project Officer
As a Project Officer, you will be instrumental in supporting the Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and implement project activities directly on the ground. Your work will involve community engagement, monitoring progress, facilitating communication, and ensuring inclusivity.
Key Responsibilities (for Project Officer):
- Support planning, coordinating, and implementing project activities.
- Assist in beneficiary identification and community engagement.
- Monitor daily progress and report on achievements/challenges.
- Facilitate communication among team, partners, and beneficiaries.
- Support logistical arrangements for trainings, workshops, and meetings.
- Assist in data collection for monitoring and evaluation.
- Help prepare project documentation, reports, and updates.
- Promote community participation and ensure inclusivity.

Qualifications and Experience (for Project Officer):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Project Management, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in project implementation, preferably in community development or security-related projects.
- A good understanding of security challenges in Northwest Nigeria is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic data management.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Hausa or other local languages is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
