Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Trainee Accountant, you will:

• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments to project future financials and offer advice.
• Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
• Report to management on the company’s financial status.
• Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems using current software.
• Manage accounting activities and be prepared for off-hours/weekend work when necessary.
• Gather accounting data from clients in the field.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Ladlas Prince is seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Education: HND, B.Sc, or equivalent in Accounting (ONLY). ICAN certification is an added advantage.
• Experience: Must have completed NYSC with not more than 0-1 year of post-NYSC experience.

   

  Skills:

  • Excellent computing skills, with intermediate command of Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal relations and communication skills.
  • Good reasoning ability and analytical mind.
  • Sound judgment and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Good use of any databases and accounting software will be an added advantage.
