2025 MTN mPulse Spelling Bee Competition

Are you a brilliant speller between 9 and 15 years old? Do you have what it takes to be the next MTN mPulse Spelling Bee Champion? Get ready to compete for glory, amazing prizes, and national recognition!

Competition Criteria & Participation Rules:

Eligibility: Open only to Nigerian students aged 9–15 in primary or secondary school.
Registration: Spellers must register as STUDENTS to participate.
No Proxies: Parents/guardians cannot participate on behalf of students.
Practice: Practice quizzes are available – play as many times as you like!
Finalists: Top 20 finalists must be on the MTN mPulse tariff plan.

1st Prize:

Student: MTN CEO for a Day, mPulse Face for the Year, ₦5 million scholarship grant, 1 laptop, 1 smartphone, and mPulse goody bag.
Teacher: ₦500,000 cash.
School: mPulse School intervention, ICT Lab (10 laptops), 10 MTN 5G Broadband.

2nd Prize:

Student: ₦2.5 million scholarship grant, 1 laptop, 1 smartphone, and mPulse goody bag.
Teacher: ₦300,000 cash.

Regional Prize:

₦1,000,000 Reward for the Top School participation per region (with a minimum of 100 participants).

Competition Stages:

Round 1: 10 spelling questions – live on mpulse.mtn.ng.
Round 2: 20 spelling questions – also on mpulse.mtn.ng for shortlisted students only.
Regional Event: On-ground regional competition held in Ibadan, Enugu, and Abuja for shortlisted students only.
Grand Finale: Live event in Lagos, streamed online for everyone to enjoy!
