Palladium is Hiring: LGA Facilitator for Health Services in Jigawa

Palladium, a global leader in the design and delivery of social and economic value, is seeking an LGA Facilitator for a project focused on strengthening integrated health and nutrition services. Primary Duties & Responsibilities

The LGA Facilitator will be responsible for coordinating all project activities at the local government level. This includes:

• Program Coordination & Advocacy:
  • Coordinating all program implementation, including advocacy with stakeholders and supervision of supported activities.
  • Facilitating the implementation of LGA emergency preparedness and response plans.
  • Supporting the scale-up of CHIPS (Community Health and Population Services) programs.

• Capacity Building:
  • Strengthening the capacity of LGA teams and Health Facility Managers to create quality improvement plans and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Providing technical support for capacity strengthening of LGA LMCU teams on integrated supply chain management and health logistics.
• Data & Reporting:
  • Supporting HRH registry updates and facilitating meetings to track implementation progress.
  • Supporting LGA-level health management information system (HMIS) activities, including data validation.
  • Collating and verifying attendance sheets for payment processing.

Required Qualifications

• Education: A first degree or HND in a relevant field.
• Experience:
  • Previous post-graduation experience, with work-related experience in a health or public health organization.
  • Prior experience working with an FCDO-funded program is an advantage.
  • Previous experience working with the State Ministry of Health, LGA, and the Lafiya program is also an advantage.
  • Previous training in the use of mobile technology for health development is preferred.
  • Experience with electronic data monitoring systems is an advantage.

• Skills:
  • Fluency in the local language is required.
