Naijatutors Konnect is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Online Coding Tutor to teach children and teens in an engaging, structured, and results-oriented manner. This is a full-time, remote role for a passionate educator who can make coding both fun and applicable to real-world problem-solving.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical proficiency and the ability to inspire creativity and confidence in young learners.

Key Responsibilities

As an Online Coding Tutor, you will:

Deliver structured, project-based coding lessons via online platforms.
Teach core programming concepts (loops, variables, functions, etc.) in a practical and easy-to-understand way.
Teach and guide students in relevant programming languages and platforms, including Scratch, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and tools for basic web/app development.
Mentor students on creating real-world projects like games, animations, websites, or interactive stories.
Provide clear progress reports and actionable feedback to parents.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe online learning environment.
Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in coding education.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience teaching coding, with proven experience teaching children online or in-person.
Strong understanding of fundamental programming principles and their application in real-world projects.
Proficiency in beginner-friendly programming languages and tools such as Scratch, Python, or JavaScript.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Reliable internet connection and access to a professional workspace.
Ability to create interactive and engaging lesson content.
A background in computer science, education, or a related field is an advantage.
