A data-driven media and analytics organization is seeking a reliable Data Collector Officer to support field operations across Lagos. This role is critical for ensuring that the organization’s strategic decisions are backed by high-quality, verified data from various stakeholders within the Lagos metropolis.

Salary: ₦100,000 – ₦150,000 Monthly (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
1. Field Data Acquisition

Methodology: Conduct primary data collection using structured surveys, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs).

Digital Tools: Utilize mobile platforms to record, upload, and sync field data in real-time.
2. Quality Assurance & Ethics
-
Integrity: Cross-check entries against source documents to maintain 100% accuracy.

Compliance: Adhere to ethical standards, ensuring informed consent and absolute participant confidentiality.
3. Engagement & Reporting

Stakeholder Relations: Act as a brand ambassador, engaging respectfully with community members, health workers, and business owners.

Documentation: Submit comprehensive daily activity reports and escalate field challenges to supervisors.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Public Health, Engineering, or related fields.

Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in field-based data collection or research.

Tech Proficiency: Proven ability to use digital platforms like KoboToolbox, ODK, or SurveyCTO.

Linguistic Skills: Fluency in English and Yoruba (or Pidgin) is essential for navigating Lagos communities.
