Job Vacancy: Finance/HR Officer (Roving) at COOPI
Cooperazione Internazionale (COOPI) is a humanitarian NGO hiring a Finance/HR Officer to support projects in Kaduna, Katsina, Benue, and Plateau states. The role involves traveling between these locations and to the main office in Abuja.
Role Summary This is a full-time position for a versatile professional to manage all financial and HR activities for field projects, ensuring compliance and smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- HR:
- Coordinate recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
- Draft contracts and maintain the staff database.
- Manage staff leave records and advise on labor laws.

- Finance:
- Manage field office bank and safe accounts.
- Ensure correct accountancy and administrative management.
- Monitor project expenses and assist with financial reporting and budget planning.
Requirements
- A Degree or Postgraduate Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably with an NGO or in the financial sector.
- Strong knowledge of cash management and financial procedures.
- Excellent skills in MS Excel, communication, and teamwork.
- Fluency in English. Knowledge of Hausa is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to remote locations.
