The Centre for Social Cohesion Peace and Empowerment (CENSCOPE) is recruiting a Media and Communication Officer to lead its visibility and documentation efforts in Borno State. This role is critical for managing donor branding and highlighting the impact of humanitarian and peace-building interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Visibility & Branding: Ensure all project materials and field activities strictly adhere to donor visibility requirements and CENSCOPE branding guidelines.

• Content Creation: Produce high-quality media content, including success stories, press releases, and social media updates.

• Documentation: Capture field activities through photography and videography for reporting and advocacy.

• Field Engagement: Willingness to travel to various field locations within Borno State to document project milestones in challenging environments.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Public Relations, or a related discipline.

• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the humanitarian sector (Experience in Mine Action is a plus).

• Skills: Strong storytelling abilities, proficiency in digital media tools, and a deep understanding of donor communication protocols.
