The Africa Hub for Innovation & Development (AHFID) is expanding its team to support its strategy, innovation, and implementation work across health, gender, and systems strengthening in Africa. AHFID is currently recruiting for several key roles in Abuja and Lagos.
Open Positions
1. Grant & Fundraising Specialist
-
Location: Abuja (Hybrid)
-
Experience: 4–7 years in grant writing, resource mobilization, or business development.
-
Education: Master’s Degree required (PhD candidates are also eligible).
-
Key Focus: Designing aggressive fundraising strategies, managing a diversified donor pipeline, and securing partnerships for the Green Girl Foundation (GGF) and AHFID.

2. Technical Associate (Program Management & Institutional Strengthening)

Location: Lagos (Hybrid – Embedded within Green Girl Foundation)

Experience: 0–3 years in program support, NGO operations, or development consulting.

Education: Master’s degree (or nearing completion).

Key Focus: Day-to-day project coordination, supporting the transition of GGF into a standalone social enterprise, and assisting with grant research.
3. Video Editor & Content Innovation Associate
-
Location: Abuja (Hybrid)
-
Experience: 3–5 years in advanced video editing, animation, and multimedia.
-
Key Focus: Visual storytelling, motion graphics, VFX, and utilizing AI-powered content tools (Runway ML, Pika Labs, etc.) to enhance media workflows.
4. Artificial Intelligence & Social Informatics Associate
-
Location: Abuja (Hybrid)
-
Key Focus: Supporting AHFID’s innovation portfolio through the lens of AI-for-development and social informatics.
