Finance Assistant: MSI Reproductive Choices (Bauchi & Kaduna)

MSI Reproductive Choices is a global leader in sexual and reproductive healthcare, dedicated to the principle of “Children by Choice, not Chance.” They are currently seeking detail-oriented Finance Assistants to support their regional offices and social marketing operations in Bauchi and Kaduna.

 Role Overview

• Position: Finance Assistant

• Location: Bauchi and Kaduna (Note: No relocation allowance provided)

• Experience: 3–5 years (Minimum 3 years post-NYSC)

• Sector: International NGO / Healthcare

 Key Responsibilities

• Advance Management: Oversee staff advances to ensure timely retirements and manage disbursements for regional teams.

• Payment Processing: Prepare and verify payment schedules and travel claims for accuracy, including the review of third-party vendor and hotel payments.

• Compliance: Manage WHT (Withholding Tax) and other statutory remittances to ensure they are filed before monthly deadlines.

• Inventory Control: Manage the store, including receiving inventory, updating BIN Cards, and issuing stock to team members.

• Commercial Support: Provide administrative and financial support to the commercial team as required.

 Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: First Degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance.

• Professional: Student membership of ICAN is a strong advantage.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Competencies: Strong analytical skills, high integrity, and the ability to handle confidential information in a fast-paced environment.

• Communication: Excellent drafting skills and the ability to interact effectively with senior executives and external partners.
