Enhancing Communities Action for Peace and Better Health Initiatives (e-CAPH) is proud to announce the launch of the NextGeneration: Adolescent Health Fellowship. This digital-first initiative is designed to empower the next vanguard of health advocates across North-West Nigeria, bridging the gap between critical health services and the youth population.

The Curriculum

Fellows will undergo intensive capacity-building sessions led by experts, focusing on four essential pillars:

Nutrition & Physical Health: Promoting healthy lifestyles and dietary awareness.
Mental Well-being: De-stigmatizing mental health and building psychological resilience.
Reproductive Health: Disseminating science-based information on reproductive rights.
Digital Advocacy: Using social media and virtual platforms to lead high-impact health campaigns.

Program Structure & Commitment

To ensure wide reach, the fellowship follows a hybrid schedule:

Weekends (Sat & Sun): Expert-led virtual instructional learning.
Wednesdays: Weekly fellow-led virtual interactions and brainstorming.
Field Work: Periodic local peer outreach activities to implement learned modules.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Age: 18 – 35 years old.
Location: Must reside in Kaduna, Kano, Jigawa, Zamfara, Sokoto, Katsina, or Kebbi.
Passion: A strong interest in health advocacy, mental health, and digital storytelling.
Tools: Consistent access to a smartphone/computer and a stable internet connection.
