TaRL Africa is re-advertising two critical positions to support the transformation of foundational education in Katsina State. These roles are designed for professionals who are passionate about evidence-based learning and working directly with government systems to ensure every child can read and perform basic mathematics.

Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) is a globally recognized, evidence-based educational approach. Unlike traditional systems that teach based on a fixed curriculum, TaRL groups children by their actual learning level rather than their age or grade, helping them master basic skills quickly.

Available Positions
1. Associate, Program Delivery & Training (PD&T)

Focus: Higher-level planning, coordination of interventions, and strategic engagement with state and local government partners.

Focus: Hands-on support for field implementation, data collection, and direct coaching of teachers and school leaders.

Key Responsibilities
-
Government Collaboration: Work side-by-side with Ministry of Education officials to integrate TaRL into the existing school system.

Mentorship & Coaching: Conduct training workshops and provides ongoing classroom-based mentoring for teachers.

Monitoring & Learning: Support the collection of data to track student progress and participate in “learning and adaptation” cycles to improve program quality.

Community Engagement: Mobilize local stakeholders and parents to support foundational literacy and numeracy goals.
