About the Opportunity
KIID is seeking committed and curious individuals to join its Research and Assessment Team (KRAT). KRAT is essential in generating high-quality evidence that informs our program designs, policy briefs, advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems.
This call is open to:

Experienced research and M&E professionals.

Motivated individuals with limited or no prior experience.

Unemployed youth, university students, young graduates, and NYSC members.

Research & Assessment Team Members (Enumerators / Research Assistants / M&E Support – Entry to Mid-Level)

Key Responsibilities
Under supervision and with provided training, successful candidates will:

Support field data collection through surveys, interviews, and community assessments.
-
Assist in baseline, midline, and endline studies, including monitoring visits.
-
Participate in Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning (MEL), and outcome harvesting activities.
-
Accurately record and submit data using both paper-based and digital tools (ODK, Kobo).
-
Maintain ethical research standards and confidentiality during community engagements.
-
Support data cleaning, documentation, and reporting activities.
-
Represent KIID professionally during all field assignments.

Required Qualifications & Competencies
Essential Requirements:
-
Minimum Qualification: SSCE (Higher qualifications are an advantage).

A strong interest in research, data collection, or community development.
-
Willingness to learn and participate in training sessions.
-
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in community settings.
-
Availability for short-term field assignments and occasional travel.

Prior experience in enumeration, surveys, or M&E.

Background in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health, or Statistics.

Familiarity with digital platforms like KoboToolbox or ODK.

Fluency in relevant local languages.
