Overview

The Federal Ministry of Education, in alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, is recruiting Technical Facilitators to revitalize Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) across Nigeria. This initiative aims to bridge the national skills gap by integrating industry-standard expertise into the classroom, transforming Federal Technical Colleges into hubs of innovation and workforce readiness.

Objectives of the Initiative

  • Enhance Quality: Improve the relevance and responsiveness of technical education to modern market demands.

  • Workforce Readiness: Equip students with practical, competency-based skills for immediate employment or entrepreneurship.

  • Institutional Reform: Support the transformation of Federal Technical Colleges into centers of excellence for vocational training.

Role of the Technical Facilitator

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality practical and theoretical instruction in specialized technical fields.

  • Implementing modern, competency-based training modules.

  • Mentoring students to meet industry-specific standards and global competitiveness.

Eligibility & Qualifications

The Ministry is seeking industry-oriented professionals who possess:

  • Education: OND, NCE, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant technical, vocational, or educational disciplines.

  • Experience: Demonstrable expertise in technical instruction, vocational training, or specific industry-related fields.

  • Commitment: A strong drive to improve educational outcomes and contribute to Nigeria’s technical development.
