Role Overview
Indocert is an international certification body focused on maintaining high standards in agriculture and food safety. As a Part-Time Inspector, you will act as the organization’s “eyes and ears” on the ground, ensuring that local farmers and food producers comply with global quality standards. This role offers high flexibility, making it ideal for consultants or professionals with a background in life sciences.
Key Responsibilities

Field Inspections: Conduct on-site visits to farms and food processing units to verify agricultural practices.

Compliance Assessment: Use international standards to identify gaps in quality assurance and food safety.

Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate technical requirements effectively to farmers, producers, and local stakeholders.

Documentation: Provide accurate, detailed reports of findings to support the certification process.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Agriculture, Horticulture, Food Science, or a related Life Science discipline.

Experience: Practical exposure to agricultural systems or food production environments is highly preferred.

Technical Skills: * Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

Analytical mindset for assessing complex compliance frameworks.

Logistics: Must be willing to travel to various regions within Nigeria for field assignments.
