Position: Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) Supervisor
Location: Katsina, Nigeria

General Objective
The SRH Supervisor is responsible for the effective planning, supervision, and coordination of sexual and reproductive health services at PUI-supported health facilities. This includes antenatal care (ANC), postnatal care (PNC), deliveries, family planning, and emergency obstetric and neonatal care (BEmONC).
Reporting to the Deputy Project Manager for Primary Health Care (PHC), you will ensure the delivery of quality and timely SRH services, compliance with national and international protocols, and active collaboration with health stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health.
Key Responsibilities
Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Service Delivery

Oversee ANC, PNC, deliveries, family planning, and emergency obstetric care

Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and hygiene standards

Monitor service quality, staff performance, and patient outcomes

Facilitate referrals, case management, and health data integration

Support coordination between SRH and other sectors (MHPSS, Nutrition, Protection)
Team Management & Capacity Building

Supervise SRH staff, plan work schedules, and manage leave/training
-
Conduct regular performance appraisals and team meetings
-
Lead onboarding and debriefing of new staff

Assess training needs and deliver capacity-building sessions for midwives, CHWs, and nurses
Medical Supplies & Equipment Oversight

Manage medical stocks, prepare supply requests, and monitor expiries
-
Ensure sterilization and maintenance of all SRH-related equipment

Maintain records for drug consumption and usage
Data Management & Reporting

Oversee data entry, accuracy, and reporting using standardized tools

Track epidemiological data and service trends

Report weekly and monthly activities to the Deputy Project Manager

Representation & Coordination

Liaise with health authorities, traditional birth attendants, and community stakeholders

Attend coordination meetings and represent PUI in relevant forums
-
Support community engagement and awareness campaigns on SRH
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery, Nursing, Public Health, or related field
-
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in SRH service delivery or supervision
-
Experience in emergency obstetric and neonatal care (BEmONC) preferred
-
Strong leadership, training, and supervision skills
-
Excellent knowledge of SRH protocols, IPC, and data tools
-
Willingness to work in humanitarian settings and travel to field locations

Fluent in English; knowledge of Hausa is a plus
