July 1, 2025 – The Lagos State Government, through its Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), has officially reopened its recruitment portal, providing qualified individuals the opportunity to join the state’s teaching workforce. This initiative aims to promote fairness and transparency in recruitment within the education sector.

 Application Window:

• Opening Date: Tuesday, July 1st, 2025

• Closing Date: Monday, July 14th, 2025

 Available Positions:

• Education Officer II – Grade Level 08

• Higher Instructor – Grade Level 08

 Educational Requirements:

Applicants must possess original certificates (not statements of results) from the following:

• O’Level: WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB

• NCE and a relevant First Degree (e.g., B.Ed, B.Sc Ed, B.A Ed)

• Acceptable Degrees:

  • B.A, B.Sc, B.Eng, B.Tech

  • HND

  • Technical Teachers Certificate (TTC)

  • PGDE (an added advantage)

• NYSC Certificate: Discharge, Exemption, or Exclusion
