The Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) is proud to launch the 7th Cycle of its flagship Entrepreneurship Training Programme (DBNETP) — aimed at building the capacity of MSMEs across Nigeria.
With over 4,000 MSMEs trained to date, DBN continues to empower small businesses through blended learning formats and strategic partnerships.
Programme Objectives

Equip MSMEs with skills to develop and defend viable business proposals

Improve access to credit and funding opportunities
-
Strengthen MSME capacity in financial management, trade, and market access
Who Can Apply?
Nigerian entrepreneurs and MSMEs from any sector, aged 18 and above, who are:

Legal residents or citizens of Nigeria
-
Running a for-profit business based in Nigeria
-
Willing and available to complete the full training schedule

Training Format
1. Virtual Training
Self-paced learning delivered through the BizAid App, covering 9 business modules.
2. Onsite Training
5-day practical sessions in Abuja, Lagos, and Port Harcourt for 300 selected businesses.
3. Pitching & Grant Funding
After training, participants will pitch their business ideas. Winners will receive grant funding from ₦500,000 to ₦1,000,000.
How to Qualify for Onsite Training

Credit Management / Access to Finance

Score at least 80% across all quizzes

Receive a link to apply for the physical training

Training will run consecutively in Abuja, Lagos, and Port Harcourt.
