GE (NYSE:GE) is a global leader that combines world-class engineering with software and analytics to tackle the world’s biggest challenges. We are looking for an experienced and driven Account Manager to join the GE Healthcare team in Abuja.

This is a key role for a sales expert to drive growth by selling GE Healthcare products and services to complex, high-visibility accounts in the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

Sales & Business Development: Actively prospecting for new customers while growing and maintaining an existing portfolio. This includes generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, and closing deals.
Strategic Planning: Developing and executing account penetration strategies for key target accounts and communicating market intelligence back to the business.
Customer & Team Relations: Building rapport and relationships with all key buying influencers, from department heads to C-suite executives. You will also coordinate closely with internal GE Healthcare teams to drive orders and achieve growth.
Performance & Compliance: Achieving annual and quarterly order and revenue targets through accurate forecasting. You will also be responsible for ensuring all activities comply with GE’s quality and compliance policies.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
7+ years of demonstrated sales experience, including customer presentations, price quoting, and territory growth.
Previous high-end capital equipment sales experience in the Healthcare or Life Sciences industry.
Proven ability to work independently, energize teams, and build rapport at all organizational levels.
Demonstrated ability to analyze customer data and create financially sound sales offers.
Strong communication and clear thinking skills.
Willingness to travel within your specified geographic region.
