Capacity Building Officer at iMMAP France/3iSolution in Abuja

iMMAP France/3iSolution is a non-profit organization that provides information management services to humanitarian and development organizations. We are seeking an experienced Capacity Building Officer to support our mission in Nigeria. This full-time role is based in Abuja.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing information management (IM) capabilities among national and state-level humanitarian actors, with a particular focus on disaster preparedness.

The Role

As a Capacity Building Officer, you will be responsible for implementing 3iS’s Disaster Preparedness IM Capacity Building Strategy. This involves direct engagement with stakeholders, coordinating and facilitating trainings, and strengthening institutional capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in mapping and engaging with key humanitarian actors like NEMA and SEMA. Conduct needs assessments to identify IM gaps in target states (Sokoto, Kebbi, Benue, Bayelsa) and at the national level.
• Training & Workshops: Help develop training curricula and materials. Coordinate all logistics for in-person and virtual workshops, and assist in delivering Train-the-Trainer programs.
• Institutional Strengthening: Support the development and management of online courses on the Moodle platform. Help establish feedback systems to measure the impact of trainings.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and maintain a Capacity Building database and dashboard for real-time progress monitoring. Document lessons learned and prepare training reports for donors and stakeholders.

Requirements & Skills

• A Master’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Humanitarian Affairs, Development Studies, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Management capacity building, training coordination, or humanitarian project support.
• Proficiency in data collection, analysis (Excel, KOBO), and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QGIS) is a must.
• Strong organizational, logistical coordination, and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural team.

Compensation & Application

• Salary: N3,000,000 – N3,185,000 per month (Gross)
