Aid for African Women & Girls (A2WG), in partnership with AGAJI GLOBAL UNITY FOUNDATION (AGUF), is recruiting Caseworkers for a 5-month, life-saving Gender-Based Violence (GBV) intervention project in Northeast Nigeria.

Purpose of the Role
The GBV Caseworker will provide confidential and survivor-centered case management and psycho-social support services to women and girls, including persons with disabilities, in line with GBV Minimum Standards and the principle of Do No Harm.
Key Responsibilities

Case Management: Provide professional case management services, develop individualized case plans, and monitor referrals to ensure timely support.

Documentation: Maintain accurate case documentation using the GBV inter-agency case management forms and ensure confidential and safe storage of client information.

Community Engagement: Conduct community sensitization and awareness activities on GBV and available services.

Safe Space & Outreach: Facilitate and co-facilitate sessions at Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS). Identify, train, and supervise GBV outreach workers and volunteers.

Coordination: Participate in field-level coordination, stakeholder mapping, and GBV meetings.
Technical Expertise and Skills

Qualification: Minimum of Diploma or University Degree (BSc, HND, ND, OND, or NCE) in Gender Studies, Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

Experience: At least 1 year of experience in GBV programming.

Technical Knowledge: Mandatory knowledge of GBV inter-agency case-management forms and GBV referral pathways.

Language: Strong communication skills in English, with fluency in Hausa and Kanuri mandatory.

Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
