FSL Recruitment: Chabash Development and Health Initiative (CDHI)

Chabash Development and Health Initiative (CDHI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of underserved populations through health, nutrition, and sustainable development. CDHI is currently recruiting for several key positions within its Food Security and Livelihood (FSL) department to address hunger and poverty across Nigeria.

Open Positions

1. Food Security and Livelihood (FSL) Manager

  • Role: Strategic leadership and technical oversight of FSL interventions.

  • Focus: Project design, budget management, partnership building, and high-level reporting.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years.

2. Livelihood Officer

  • Role: Developing and supervising sustainable income-generating activities.

  • Focus: Vocational training, small business support, and market linkage strategies.

  • Experience: 1–3 years.

3. Cash and Voucher Officer

  • Role: Managing end-to-end Cash-Based Assistance (CBA) processes.

  • Focus: Beneficiary registration, vendor management, and financial tracking.

  • Experience: 1–3 years.

  • Role: Field-level implementation and grassroots engagement.

  • Focus: Input distribution, community mobilization, and field data collection.

  • Experience: 1–3 years.

General Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Agriculture, Economics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.

  • Location: Nationwide (Candidates must be willing to deploy based on project needs).

  • Skills: Proficiency in digital data collection tools and strong analytical skills.

  • Language: Excellent communication in English and relevant local languages.

  • Ethics: Commitment to humanitarian principles, safeguarding, and the “do-no-harm” approach.
