Follow The Money (FTM), Africa’s largest social accountability movement and a flagship initiative of Connected Development (CODE), is now recruiting State Leads for all 36 states and the FCT. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for credible, community-rooted citizens ready to champion transparency and accountability in public spending.

 Role Overview

• Position: State Lead (One per state)

• Locations: All 36 States of Nigeria & FCT

• Nature of Role: Leadership-focused, volunteer-driven, and high-impact.

 Key Responsibilities

• Grassroots Tracking: Lead on-ground monitoring of government projects in health, education, and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) to prevent abandoned projects.

• Community Mobilization: Teach citizens how to use budget information to demand better services and hold local authorities accountable.

• Stakeholder Advocacy: Engage with traditional rulers, local government officials, and community leaders to promote open governance.

• Reporting: Provide field reports, photos, and human-interest stories to the national headquarters to amplify grassroots voices.

• Team Leadership: Build and manage a dedicated network of volunteers and community champions within your state.

Candidate Requirements
