School Supervisor – NewGlobe (Katsina State)

NewGlobe is partnering with the government to transform public education in Katsina State. We are seeking 25 visionary School Supervisors to lead this change at the grassroots level. This is a high-impact, field-based role dedicated to empowering teachers, supporting school leaders, and ensuring every child in Katsina has access to high-quality learning.

 Eligibility & Location Requirements

Strict Requirement: This position is open only to Katsina State indigenes. Candidates must be currently based in, or willing to relocate (at their own cost) to one of the following LGAs:

• Batagarawa

• Charanchi

• Kankia

• Katsina

• Kusada

 Role Overview

As a School Supervisor, you are the bridge between NewGlobe’s data-driven educational technology and the classroom. You will spend 90% of your time in schools, moving away from traditional desk-bound administration to active, on-ground mentorship and coaching.

 Key Responsibilities

• Instructional Leadership: Conduct classroom observations and provide structured feedback to teachers using standardized rubrics.

• Data-Driven Coaching: Use insights from NewGlobe’s digital systems and school audits to identify learning gaps and drive improvement.

• Community Engagement: Partner with parents, traditional rulers, and government officials to boost school enrollment and retention.

• Professional Development: Facilitate induction programs and continuous training sessions for school staff.

• Operational Excellence: Oversee school management, ensure compliance with national standards, and prepare students for national examinations.

 Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) is mandatory.

• Experience: At least two (2) years of experience as a primary school teacher.

• Community: Proven experience in community engagement or social mobilization.

• Digital Skills: You must be tech-savvy and comfortable using digital tablets and reporting tools.

• Mobility: Must be willing to travel daily to various schools within your assigned LGA.
