Project Overview
This study is a comprehensive Landscape Assessment and Political Economy Analysis (PEA) of the Maternal and Newborn Health (MNH) system in Gombe State. The goal is to collect mixed-methods data that will drive infrastructure upgrades, workforce development, and optimized referral systems to save the lives of mothers and newborns.
Scope of Work
Enumerators will be at the forefront of data collection, performing the following tasks:

Facility Assessments: Conduct structured physical audits of health facilities.

Interviews: Lead Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) with policymakers and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with community members.

Data Verification: Review facility registers to verify service delivery data and use observational checklists.

Digital Reporting: Use mobile data collection tools for accurate daily submissions.

Quality Control: Participate in mandatory daily debriefings and quality review meetings.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Nursing, or Community Health.

Experience: * Proven track record in quantitative and qualitative field data collection.

Prior experience in Health Facility Assessments or MNCH projects is highly preferred.

Proficiency in using digital data collection tools (e.g., KoboCollect, ODK).

Local Expertise: Strong knowledge of the Gombe State landscape and health system.

Languages: Fluency in English and Hausa is mandatory; knowledge of other local Gombe dialects is a plus.
